Our Collection

Within the Crawford County Library System are over 70,000 items for public use. Included in the extensive collection are: Nonfiction, Fiction, Children's, Young Adult, Reference, DVDs, Audiobooks on CD, and Online Databases and Resources in a variety of formats. Our collection of downloadable titles, whether in audio or ebook form, is continually growing as we strive to stay on top of the latest advances in portable digital media.

Interlibrary Loans
The Crawford County Library System is a participant in the statewide borrowing system, allowing Crawford County residents access to collections located throughout the state of Michigan. Stop at the circulation desk, call us at 989-348-9214, or use your library card numbers in our online catalog to check availability and place holds on titles in books, DVDs, audios....whatever your preferred format. If an item is unavailable through our catalog of upper and northern lower peninsula Michigan libraries, try our Michigan eLibrary (MeL) link to borrow titles from participating libraries outside of our area.



 The Devereaux Memorial Library has also established
one of the nation's largest specialty collections dedicated to fly fishing.
 
The George Griffith & Marion Wright Memorial Fly Fishing Collection
boasts a variety of literature for all levels of fly fishing enthusiasts.
